system image backup failure - 0x8007001B

    I did a copy of Computer Image with both HDDs with PrtScn but I don't see how to paste it down here ???

    When you are posting Click on the paper clip at the top

    Use snipping tool to make the image. Type that term in search.

    That error means that you have a bad sector, so the diskcheck is a good move. Its not a space shortage problem.

    THANK YOU! I had the exact same problem except on Win 7/64. I checked all the blogs, tried everything but without success. In desperation I did the "Error-checking" on C:. That reported no problems. I tried the backup again and wonder of wonders, it worked. I'm a bit disappointed though that my new WD Black Caviar 1TB HD had a bad sector so soon.
