    Oh I didn't mean OC, I don't know enough to try it so I don't, too risky. Although I guess 3000 score is good considering I haven't changed any settings etc.

    Might be a bit tricky improving your score without OC. Even some hardware upgrades seem to have only incremental effects. I went from a GTX 560 ti to a GTX 780 and my score went up only a hundred points or so (as far as I can remember).

    That being said, it could be an interesting exercise to find out what other things have an effect such as background apps, Windows services, multiple monitors, attached devices, etc.
