    dear essenbe,

    It certainly looks that way. You get some .35 s per loop against mine of .5 s despite the 2500K being i5 3.3GHz. Obviously, something other than processor speed (i5 vs i7?, K?, OS, ...) is at play here.
    May be someone can shed light on this anomaly.

    I believe I can speak for Britton30 and say he knew very well that it was sarcastic. His post was sarcastic also. But, while you are doing the explaining, I just ran Super PI with a resource type gadget open on my desktop. It tells activity by core and also of the whole CPU. It also has installed, used and total usage of ram. During the test the max CPU usage was 13% and max ram usage was 21%. So what exactly was it testing?
