Mine just says it's an intel, it's actually a gtx580.
Which is what explains my scoring.
Meh.
I don't know this benchmark seems about useless. all you have to do is leave dx11 on and you can score ridiculous numbers just because you dump resolution.
case in point below. Granted I have a decent setup here, but even so I can make my number swing wildly by thousands, that just doesn't seem right.
I should also note that even in this run the min fps is still being generated by their transitions and not by the actual test which is messed up as well.
and the funniest thing is it's gone from listing my gtx580 as a intel integrated to listing it as a unknown 256mb card. It's obviously wrong on both counts.
I opened up the case and looked just to be sure
Maguscreed - I couldn't resist re benching mine after seeing how high one can score when turning everything off, I ran the bench with it all off and lowest settings, and the difference in my score at all on and all off is over 5000 haha (1679 on all Highest settings vs 6417 on lowest settings haha)
That's what I'm saying the score takes absolutely nothing into account apparently except the raw number of frames rendered throughout the test
Which makes the result fairly meaningless.
Unless absolutely everyone is using all identical settings... which we obviously aren't.
My first result up top was this same system with all the benchmark settings actually cranked.
Keep the scores coming! I wander why mine is so low compared to yours. I have a Radeon HD 5670 512mb.
The resolution setting makes a huge difference as I was noting.
Also the 5670 sadly is really nothing compared to the gtx580.
GeForce GTX 580 vs Radeon HD 5670 – Performance Comparison Benchmarks @ Hardware Compare
The lowest comparison puts the 580 at 201% more effective and the highest comparison at nearly 500%
There just really is no comparison, the 5670 is great for what it's supposed to be a low power budget range gamer's card, but it's just not going to match the top shelf cards a lot of people here have.
