Very nice results for a single card Paul, I bet you're chuffed with that card chap
Thats more than my sli scored with my last cpu @4GHz
Yeah totally mate, but I just caught a darn cold and feel like crap so I have lost interest in my PC right now

    Well, color me impressed!

I'm curious, what are your Core Clock and Mem Clock frequencies?

Shoulda known that the prices would drop. Ah well, c'est la vie.

Oh yeah, as mentioned by someone in another post, my scores have dropped as well after updating the drivers.

    Kent

As I said before, it was +122 on the core and + 300 on the mem with a 106% power target, but to give you the actual frequencies I have attached a screen shot.
I was looking at your score Kent, I think you managed a +200 on the core, that is much higher than I can go but maybe mine is running faster at stock than yours already?

    Paul.

It just shows the difference in performance with the 780's compared to the previous gen as your oc'd clocks are around the same as my stock clocks but the other differences in the gpu make it perform a hell of a lot better. They're making very good progress enit

I have been reading up on your particular GPU and there are a series of Bios out there that have very good power management [Official] NVIDIA GTX 780 Owner's Club they have so much going on with these cards one of them are going to launch that sucker into space ridiculous Overclocking 1300/1700 some that I have read that has to be pretty damn high if the core is like 850 MHz

guys have to understand.... the R9 series cards are still in beta drivrs.... and yes the drivers do suck. however, with every beta update, I see more and more improvement in my 280x. its going to take AMD a bit of time to get the drivers working properly. but once they are good as gold they will be kick ass cards!

Your base clock is a bit higher than mine, mem clock is the same.

I can do +194 on the core and +248 on the mem. The graphs in Precision X show a max GPU clock of 1202MHz and a max mem clock of 3251MHz. At these settings I get just a bit of texture flicker and 3DMark will crash 1 out of 3 runs. These settings are for benchmarking and fun, I game at the stock settings.

It doesn't look like GPU-Z reports OC settings, I even tried running GPU-Z while Valley was running and still got the same results.

Kent, if you click the "sensors" tab in GPUz while running Valley it should show the real time GPU speed at the top

I think when I was running the +134MHz core last night it was reporting 1280MHz for the core on the sensors tab but dropped to 1254MHz after a while as I think it was throttling due to the temp getting to around 80C

im getting the asus version of my 280x card, so ill have another score up when I buy it. its clocked at 1070MHz core and 1600MHz mem so it should get a bit higher score! also it wont annoy the hell out of me because it doesn't have a whine to it!
