heres my 13.10 WHQL test
exactly the same as the 13.11 beta 9.2 drivers even with my CPU clocked 100MHz slower.
I honestly thought it should be higher. Compared to to stock 7970GHz edition it should be faster.
Very nice score Patrick
yeah those 780's are kickin ass ent theyI'd like one but couldn't go back to a single card as my case would look empty then.
Cheers mate :)
In a moment of madness though, I just ordered a pair of EVGA 780 ti Superclockeds. (reference coolers since the ACX's weren't available) Flap knows I'm going to be able to afford em though. Cut back on every bloody thing I guess lol and hope I can sell my current cards
(Then again, since when do enthusiasts think logically?)
I would have stuck with one card if it weren't for surround. I also opted for the superclocked because my reckoning is that they are better binned cards.
The choice was mainly one of heat. It's heading into a hot summer here and I'm already dancing around the high 90's on 100% on my top two cards. Two 780s are faster than three 670's and my board has good spacing so I'll be able to leave a slot between them. Hopefully that'll keep the heat (and noise) down.
Nice 1 chap, They'll easily drive your surround enit chap
High 90'sand I moan about hitting 75c lol
Good luck getting rid of your old cards, Since I swapped out my stock Corsair fan's my gpu temps have been well under the 1st throttle point so they're a lot easier to live with lol. They're still going though as soon as I scrape the money up to replace them. I want to go back to AMD Gpu's and really like the MSI R9 280x so a couple of them will do me fineThey're only dual slot cards so a fair bit slimmer than I have now and run a lot cooler. plus I'll be able to play with them unlike my Palit's as they have no room to oc with these coolers. So once crimbo is out the way it's time to get saving. If I can get around £150 per 670 I'll be happy.
