lol, you guys have been quick since I edited my post.
I think my Riva TNT2 ULTRA "may" trump that. Just on age alone.
But Voodoo gave us SLI...
And 3Dfx Glide was the Mantle of it's day.

Hmm.... I vaguely remember that card. It's been years so...
And yeah, Glide was the it at that time. I wonder what 3DFX would have been like today? Oh well.
Anyway my score card...
Windows 8.1, Haswell i7-4770K, 32gid RAM, Gigabyte G1. Sniper 5MB, Sapphire Vapor X R9-280X GPU, OCZ vertex 4 SSD Drive, blah, blah, blah. Will update system specs later.
Drew, I have quoted myself below to show you what settings you should be running for the leaderboard mate.
Ok, this is a tricky one, I am going to create a leaderboard for this thread, the excepted scores that will be allowed to be added are on either the Extreme Preset or the exact equivalent as some some cards don't seem to like the Extreme preset in SLI or Xfire. The settings for this would be Quality (ultra), Tesselation (Extreme) AA (X8) and resolution at 1600x900.
I remember it well because it was so bloody expensive
IIrc - at the time, the Voodoo 3 series was the period.
Good scores. I hope the gameplay improvement has put a smile on your face :)
Glide was the thing. Glide>Open GL>Direct X
Sadly DirectX was the MS winner. Damn MS. If DX wasn't the "standard" - just imagine what sort of true power and IQ we'd be seeing today. Actual photo realistic imagery harnessing the true extent of a GPU's capability.
How about if it's a leader board score attempt etc - It should be mentioned in post whether or not if it's for the leader board or not?
I still like seeing 1920x1xxx scores and triple screens for comparison. I don't think each post will be an attempt for LB scores.
Yeah that's fine Paul. I just posted something without reading the post, but upon looking at the scores I noticed most if not all were at the extreme settings so that's fine. I'll run it again with those settings and post back later.
And though I agree with smarteye's sentiments, I can see where confusion would set in. With that, for consistency, I'd stick with your rules as is.
Edit....
It just occurred to me that the rules for gaining access to the leader board are hard to find given this thread has over 80+ posts (I haven't found it, but I know it's there). Point is, if you look at the first thread, there is noting there about rules. Now I know you can't edit another's post, but perhaps a link somewhere in you sig might work.
I agree there needs to be some sort of standard, and agree with what you've set in place, it would just be nice if we knew about them. Don't have an easy answer seeing you can't edit the original post, just thought I'd voice my observations.
All is good :)

Nice frames for a re-brand 7970
It's funny when i run certain benchmarks my cards show up as R9-280x
