Paul, that was a lot of work you did today overclocking that card. You beat me by 2.2 FPS. That probably would not be noticable in a game. I'm really being serious. It just makes me wonder why we go to a lot of this effort to overclock things that don't really make much difference in the real world. Well, wondering if there is a reason other than it's fun. But, you do have to wonder about our sanity.
Hopefully yes but only if I feel better than I do now, I'll have to put some of that food stuff in me for some energy lol's
Ebuyer are on a go slow as I've not even had the dispatched mail yet but fingers crossed it won't be late when they show up.
I try not to think about it, I paused for a few second's when pulling the trigger on an £800 upgrade I don't need lmao!
But! But! Shiny! Shiny!![]()
I think you're in for a real treat, Ryan. Of course, I only have a single card, but my stock 780 beat my overclocked 670 by 800 points. So, you won't have to worry about how you feel. You'll feel great.
First run of Heaven at total stock for the gpu's including fan profile, Max temp 79 and 68c, Both cards boosting to 1045MHz.
It's a nice boost form the 670's![]()
Ryan, a very nice score, but again I think it should be higher.
I don't know if you remember, but a while back there was talk of the "Extreme" preset not working properly for the SLI/Xfire guys but with the exact same settings on a "Custom" profile they worked fine.
Could I suggest you try the Custom setting with the following settings to see if it changes anything.
Quality (ultra), Tesselation (Extreme) AA (X8) and resolution at 1600x900.
