Thanks BugMeister.
I'm running 13.1, no issues. Not ready to try 13.2 Beta. Will give 13.1 more time to mature.
Thanks again,
J

Howdo folks
As i thought my cpu is limiting me a bit. So i upped my oc from 4Ghz to 4.3 which certainly helped. I think i could have scored more still though as i have the central heating on and one of my gpu's hit 71c. 70c being the first throttle point. It would probably make very little difference but i'll do it again when it's cooler
I've still not tweaked my gpu's at all yet either.
Before and after screenie's
Very nice score thebagladysong

ganjiry, Nice increase there. well done.
@thebagladysong, Welcome to Seven Forums. Those are quite nice scores. Very well done. Congratulations.
I've done another run while its cold lol.
I increased my cpu to 4.4Ghz
On my Gpu's i changed power management to max performance and raised the power target on gpu's to 120% with +25mV.
It made practically no difference at all, Max Fps increased by 5 and scored an extra 4 points.
I'm pretty sure my max kepler boost is 1176Mhz though as i've never seen it higher no matter what i do and Mem clock 1527MHz. No complaints ere
Hi guys,
I finally managed to decipher why I was getting such low FPS in 3D Mark11's physics benchmarks (4-5 fps).
Turns out that though I passed IBT (10 passes), the CPU wasn't getting enough juice to properly compute the physics stuff. It got enough not to freeze or BSOD, but not enough to do it right.
I bumped vcore beyond what's allowed through BIOS using MSI's OS overclocking tool (Click Bios II) et voila, now I get 25+ FPS on both physics benchmarks.
Since the board vdroops like there's no tomorrow (from 1.512 to 1.435 under stress and idles at around 1.48) I'm settling for a 4.4MHz 24/7 OC to keep idle vcore at reasonable levels. Not ready to fry anything, not yet.
This board would be great if it had LLC. Already looking into some Sabetooth deals plus a heftier PSU.
Thanks for your advice.
Cheers,
Jay
