Thanks Steve. I made sure to check the actual speed the card was running this time. It was 1555Mhz core. The memory I can't tell you other than it was +500.

The memory on my gpu is faster than pretty much any other 980 on the market at stock. Then I chucked another 500mhz on top.

Temps were cold. Gpu hit 53c during the benchmark and didn't downclock from 1555mhz once.

I guess my card is just better


But on a serious note, I think there are so many variables involved it's not as clean cut as 2 cards should score the same at the same speed. It's 2 totally different rigs, different temps etc etc.
