    OK, it does pretty well in 3D Mark 11 I have to say, CPU at 5GHz again like the 780, same MHz OC on the core and Mem.
    But dam this thing is too noisy!!

    No mate, I just ran tropics benchmark and passmark and the 290X loses out to the 780 on both of them, so the final score is 3-1 to the 780, and the 780 don't sound like a darn hoover/hair dryer/jet engine which is good lol.

    I noticed with the new drivers my Unigene went down a lot too

    I think it's the way they have the cards running and don't forget they have this new thing called frame pacing supposedly it only works for dual GPU set ups but I think single cards are loosing out over it too

    All I know mate is it's the nosiest card I have ever owned. I am gonna swap back to the lovely 780 now, my ears hurt lol.

    Yeah, I was considering one until I heard the price. They are supposed to be like $650 which means in the UK they will be very expensive. I expect they will be heavy OC'ed 780s, but we will see.
