How long have you had the mobo

Since 2009, I think. It was a great setup when I first built it. In some respects it can still give some of the first gen Core i CPUs a run for their money. In other respects, well, it's showing its age.

This benchmark has me totally baffled. My GPU scores exactly the same at stock as it does with a +150MHz OC. Something ain't right with it and I can't figure it out. CPU speed makes no difference to GPU score. I am very confused.

That's what I was saying earlier, this benchmark just barely gets my GPU above idle.

Are you using AfterBurner or Precision X? It's easier to see the (mostly) real time frequency with Precision X because it's presented like an automotive gauge.

Doesn't seem to be an AMD vs Nvidia thing either. There are good scores and crap scores with both manufacturers.

For me at least, there is some improvement with higher CPU clock rates, and I also noticed an improvement switching from HT on to off in the graphics test.

The graphics score seems to be somewhat limited by single thread/core performance.

Overall, I'd say this test isn't a very good representation of the performance potential of your graphics card(s), and that it is likely a better representation of how their software in particular will perform using your graphics acceleration.

The CPU test on the other hand seems fairly straightforward and relevant. That's mostly what I've seen the Cinebench tests used for.

My score went lower with a higher oc on the graphics card

I didn't bother posting my score with the HOF 780 I had, but I think it was 138FPS

Brian ,That's a great score but seriously this bench is tripping how is it you score the same almost with a different GPU

I can't take it too serious anymore because people are getting sick amount of frames with a lesser card and it just seems fishy to me

I forgot who it was but a while back they had something like 120+ frames with a GTX660 and i got 125 with 2x 7970's
