Ralph, are you kidding me mate? You know the GTX 780s are only like $520 and perform much better.

    The 770 is a rebranded 680 and costs $370.

One question, since the 680 and 660 is roughly the same size, can I swap out the open dual fan I have on my 660 with the enclosed hdpe enclosed case the 680 comes with?

See my last post mate, if you paid $600 for the 680 you need to cancel it straight away, phone them if you need to and tell them you ordered it in error.

The 680 is a 770 and they are close to half the price. You can get a 780 cheaper.

The 700 series need a 12 volt line with 50+amps, my PSU does not have that, and I am not cancelling the order because it was already shipped. I will have it tomorrow*. I ordered it from a store near my house. Plus I will give the 680 as a present to a family member once I upgrade to the 800s, I am sure they will be thrilled to have it, because it's all she has been talking about. So the order stays. Sorry bud, I know I disappointed you there, but so be it, sometimes we need to do what we need to do.

By the way, it would be nice of newegg and other electronics websites to post the EXACT power requirements. It took me two hours to track down a card I can properly support. Newegg is nice and all, but their power requirements.....what power requirements...exactly page sucks.

Ralph, the last thing you did was disappoint me. I just don't want to see you get ripped off for things. Friends don't like to see friends pay over the odds for things.
If you bought it and it's shipped then that is that. I understand your reasons for getting it, but please always consult us on the forums before you go for a quick buy. I remember before you got the new AMD CPU and Motherboard we had discussed Intel in great detail, and I thought you were going to get Intel but before I knew it you changed your mind and got the AMD stuff.
Hey it's your money and you can spend it how you like, but I would like to think you don't need to rush into buying things and take your time to weigh things up, a bit like the old carpenters rule, measure twice cut once lol.

Anyway, the 680 will be a big improvement over the 660 you currently have and I look forward to seeing the results on it.

Don't stress about things too much mate, PC's should be fun, you have a nice rig, better than many people's, but please be sure to consult with me or others on here before you pull the trigger on an Intel rig for advice etc, we are here to help.

Also I am pretty sure the 780 only needs around 34 AMPS on the 12V Rail, I know because my PSU is nearly good enough for 2 but not quite.

Well i dont have 38 on one rail minimum but i believe you can connect them, plus the guys at overclockers are running 680s, the much more powerful editions on 500 watt 18amp ones, so obviously it can be done, and my PSU has 580volts on one rail, anoter180 on another, it is really a strong 650 watt psu, and it has the correct hookups for a card that needs 2 8pin connections I found out, but i will settle with a 6 and 8. And I am sorry I did not consult with you guys, but I had the family lawyer over today because some sleezebag is trying to extort money from my 84 year old gramma by sending her phantom panties *diamond underwear* just to warn you guys, and then reporting her to the collections agency, so I said enough and got a lawyer involved. So I was sort of busy and the card thing, pissed me off REALLY bad, when I saw my score.
