One step at a time Paul, I just built this system, no need for a 6 or 8 core.
I had 1 shot to get 2 Ti`s, I can get a monitor anytime, that`s not important right now, it`ll come
ASUS ROG PG278Q Black 27" 1ms(GTG) WQHD Widescreen LED Backlight LCD G-SYNC 3D Monitor , Gaming Hotkeys, 6mm Slim Bezel 350 cd/m2 1,000:1 - Newegg.com
Does it broke your computer Paul ? u had custom watercooling system then ?
No it was an Alphacool Eisberg 240 Niklu. And yes it has damaged my PC. Lots of issues with it now. The CPU socket was soaked.
Both the Etailer I bought the cooler from and Alphacool don't want to pay for the damaged parts. The cooler was only in the PC for 2 weeks and through no fault of my own my PC is now damaged.
It's a real headache at the moment.
Strange .. i think they should have some kind of warranty of products what they sell..
Is there where u live some kind of the consumer ombudsman(or how its called on english) guy who u can contact if product seller tryes to escape hes responsibility?
By the way Paul do you have that asus gaming monitor what AddRAM just linked there ? im looked that one too .. nice resolution and refresh rate. im played with 144hz monitor long time now and there is no way to go back 60hz monitor. so thats what im afraid that 4k monitors only supports 60hz but does g-sync make it smoother than normal 60hz monitor..someone tells that human eyes cant see diffrence between those refresh rates but they are really wrong.
Bad news for sure Paul, hope you get things sorted soon.
I will one day upgrade and see the difference too Niklu
You can see diffrence in desktop not even need to play games Oh wait ... Dude u going to try 4k monitor ? thats what you mean? And that Pauls case it really sucks if cooler was faulty and leaked inside the computer and manufacturer dont get any responsibility own product.
Yes, I will try a 4k monitor one day, I take a long time on upgrades though, so it will be a while
