Gary, after you download 3D Mark, launch it and click the Test tab. This is for the Advanced version, I bought it. If you have the demo version it may be different, I don't remember.

I think if you just have the demo then you have to run all the tests including the demos, it will take a while but give you a score for all 3 at the end mate.
I know the free version is a pain due to all the demo that has to be watched etc, but it is a very current benchmark used on many forums. It has to have a place here. I paid for it recently which eliminates the need for all the demo etc but you can still run it if you have the patience for free.

This test is designed for notebooks and home PC's. Well my PC is a home PC so I guess that's fine lol.

The basic edition is free and only gives one option for settings so it should be straight forward :)

After using geekbench on my phones and tablets, I wanted to see how powerful my 2011 Lenovo laptop compared to the portable devices today. I'm still surprised that it can still kick ass out of the dual core 4th gen Core CPUs,
