Cheers Doug, I was not near to my max OC and the CPU was at my daily so I am sure I can beat it but I will wait until Nvidia fix it first.

OK, new Nvidia drivers were released today and I can confirm it has cured the issues with the first test and it all runs fine now. Here's a new score from me. Nowhere near my max yet, still using stock bios.

I have no idea what the driver validation is about, I'm running 337.88 and had the black screen thing.

There are some new beta drivers Steve that cure the black screen thing. They were released yesterday.

I downloaded them, I just haven't installed them yet. I'll run it again when I get them installed.

New driver didn't help

It should have helped with the black screen. I don't know what is wrong with yours then. Mine ran perfect after the new drivers and we have the same gpu.

It did help with the black screen, but that does not matter. It didn't help much with the score and that does matter.

Well why didn't you say that! Nope it makes no difference to the scores, it was just a fix for the black screen. If you want a better score you will need to overclock or buy a new gpu. The former is the cheaper option lol.

Haha yeah, lucky for me it's been pretty quiet on the benchmark scene this week.
