Yeah, you can sink a lot of money into all that equipment. In 2007 I started with a modest 14" laptop, now I have 3 desktops, 6 laptops, 2 tablets and about 20 extra disks of which half are SSDs. Not to speak of a box full of USB sticks 4 to 128GBs (some cost real money) and an array of SD cards. There is no end to that stuff. Ah, and I forgot 5 printers.

You probably wonder why I need so much stuff - problem is that we have 3 homes and we don't like to lug the stuff, except for the W8Phone and the tablets. And half of the equipment is used by the wife who spends more time on the computers than me.

I can totally understand if you have 3 homes Wolfgang. It's nice to have a decent Desktop PC in each I am sure. The rest you just kind of accumulate!

Me and my partner split up in June last year and I moved my rig to my Dads house where I was staying for a few months. It was a lot of effort to move the thing what with the monitor and what seemed like 100s of cables! We got back together and I had to move it back, again a big mission. We then split up again at the start of December and I said **** it the PC is staying where it is until I find a permanent place to live lol. Turns out we got back together again just after Christmas so I was dam pleased I didn't move my rig again!
I am hoping there will be no further breakups and so far so good. I won't go into details but yeah.

I would guess at 5GHz on the flux capacitor

Edit: He won't be running that much soon though.......he won't need to!

Tommy, why are you asking Paul? You asked me on OCN and I already told you. What catch? Isn't that what everyone does when they run benchmarks? Like you don't overclock your GPU when you run Heaven?

Yeah you tell him Steve! Why you asking me Solar? Haha! If you are benchmarking then speed is king like I said earlier in this thread. Whether it be GPU or CPU. In fact if you want to be the best then you need both but Solar knows that! Or he does now lol.

Yes you told me Steve but at the same time i thought we settled using our everyday speed

I actually thought there was some rules here hahaha but if it isn't written it isn't law now i know what i have to do

Looks like it's time to increase speeds Captain !

Truth be told though stability comes to mind after or above 4.8Ghz but i'll give it a whirl

I only overclock my GPU noone said anything about the CPU too lol

I want to see your results with a everyday speed you run lol

If you guys try using dry ice cooling maybe you can get above 6000 on a single core score and be rated #1 on the single core list.

Some lucky guy got their hands on a 60-core cluster and scored 144424 on the multi-core test. Dell Inc. PowerEdge R920 - Geekbench Browser

Well, here's my Surface Pro 3 tablet score:
Microsoft Corporation Surface Pro 3 - Geekbench Browser
I'd say it's not bad for a 15W ULV CPU
