Windows 8 Pro w/MC 32-bit

If you're using IE 8 have you tried a reset: Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Reset? I'd first download Adobe's removal tool then do the reset then reinstall Flash. See this post regarding Flash updating: Seven steps to update the Adobe Flash Player on Windows | Defensive Computing - CNET News .
