I just finished looking at the SilveOS site, there is a lot of stuff there.

I do have the most recent Silverlight installed, 4.0.50524.0 that came out 030610.
It opens right up like your attachment, but when I tried to open the browser I got a SQL error.

I right clicked the TaskBar IE button, and I had two options Silverlight, and install SilveOS.
Do I go ahead, and install?

    ISP's an AV's. How's that saying go.....Strange bedfellows?

I'm familiar with a pushbroom, thanks for the head's up!

I've never installed it here so I wouldn't have an immediate answer. The site there was simply an alternative browser since you remotely use that IE rather then opening any page directly with your own. A small isolation in a sense rather then collecting cookies and data miners.

I was thinking about joining the SOS forum to find out, but It then hooks you up to Hotmail, messenger, and Skydrive, and I'm not particulary interested in them.
Never felt the need, don't like texting on the phone either.

Someone passed along the link for the virtual desktop page there some time back and I've only been to that a few times simply to show others like yourself. When at the Silverlight home page that's mainly to review something. SilverlightShow: Silverlight Community - articles, news, tutorials, showcase, videos

Well that's if that's the site you are referring to. You create an account there like you would at TechNet, Connect, or MSDN in that fashion. You don't have to install anything more just have a Live email account for verification and notices to validate the new account. To verify and read any emails sent you simply log into the inbox for that while online.

Will let you know how I make out.......

That's the main signup page seen there for creating a new Live account. Once that is all set you can log into the inbox and set that up quickly. From there you simply use that whenever signing up at any of the MS sites.

Since you won't be downloading anything to see installed things should go real fast. But let us know how it goes just the same.

    A DNS like Norton's.
I will have to check with my verizon ISP if they offer any free packages, being on a fixed income (retired), my DW and me need to watch our budget.
Norton DNS is free and you don't need other Norton products to use it. You may want to read this thread:*Recommend DNS services to fight against malware - Wilders Security Forums

Thanks malexous, I'll check that out.

I'm gonna be pretty busy this week, so I don't know when I'll be back.
The only reason I'm here now is, I was checking my emails, and I saw the insta-note in my inbox.

I do have google DNS on both my machines.
