Outlook express is no more.
I guess I'm assuming you do not want Outlook?
IMHO, Mozilla Thunderbird is an excellent client. No ad-ware. It can even connect to an Exchange Server, if you desired. I use it on Linux, but works equally well on Windows 7.
Hallo anon, i am using Thundrebird for my Web accounts.
For my personal email i am using Vistas Windows Mail (similar to XP's Outlook Express) i have attached a link to a tutorial on how to install it in Windows Seven;

The replacement for Outlook Express is Windows Live Mail and is part of
Windows Live Essentials
When you install it will give you a choice of a number of free programs from MS. I use Live Mail, Photo Gallery and Movie Maker.

No, you can d/l it for 7. Never copy a program, b/c of registry issues.
