If login doesn't work, just use "signup" and create a new login. If I click "email alerts" at the bottom of the page I get: "Log in or sign up with CNN to get personalized features such as breaking news alerts and newsletters." You could also try to tell them about the problem here: http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form9d.html

You could use Foxnews. Kidding. It sounds like something is blocking it. Did you add or update any software that's used to block things like spyware and popups?

No! Friends don't let friends use foxnews.

What browser are you using? Can you try with another browser?

Hey now I'm for using all news sites to get your info and news. Comes down to personal preference. But I'm not going to pretend that either one of those news organizations don't push their own agenda.

But yeah I just created an account and I can't seem to sign in either. I got through once and then I logged out to try to log in again and nothing happens. This is strange. I'm using FF v3.6.9.

Since metalmania was having problems logging in, I suggest not worrying about the technical stuff right now and try logging on tonight or tomorrow.
