IE 8 stops working on pendrivelinux website

IE 8 consistently stops working when I go onto
    Possible Warning!!!
Run Linux Mint 9 from a USB Flash Drive (Windows) | USB Pen Drive Linux

and click on the usb installer download. (McAfee says the site's fine - for what that's worth)

Any ideas how I might find out what the problem is?

You do realise the download is a torrent correct?

The first download is a torrent; the second is a *.exe file. Works fine on my version of IE8. Perhaps since it's an executable file, your anti-virus is trying to protect you. I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials which isn't bothered by it. Also my IE8 settings are: Protected Mode Off, Pop-up Blocker off, SmartScreen Filter off. In Internet Options Security Tab file downloads are enabled. Another feature I added is one where the default behavior for left click is the save program dialog. Have you tried right-clicking and choosing "save target as"?
