Where has the 64 bit version of Minefield/Firefox gone. I went to the link where I always see the file listed and they are missing.

Prob because they switched to beta 11. I expect it will be fixed shortly.

Interesting, Commodore Pet, I had not seen that yet.

You can always go here.

I'll check into it a bit more and get back to you but GeneO is correct, I'm sure.

The eternal nightly 64bit build.....

think this thing will ever actually materialize into the real world?

Last time I tried it had major bugs with flash.
Since the 64 bit build wouldn't work for everything "especially my addons" I had to switch to 32 bit at which time flash would want to reinstall since installing the 64 bit version seemed to ruin flash for the 32bit version of FF.
If you reinstall for 32bit... then it trashes it for 64 bit?

Seems a few tweaks and running 32bit FF with cache in ram makes it plenty fast.

Would love to do the same for 64 bit though!

Hi, windstrings!

I keep both versions on my computer and run each interchangeably with no problems. The 32 bit Flash plug-in does not interfere with the 64 bit Flash "Square" plug-in at all, in my case. I even use the Active X Flash versions for 32 bit and 64 bit IE9 - no issues.

Almost all of my extensions work with the x64 version of FF and, those that didn't, I found development builds for them that do work.

anyone have another FFox x64, non-Nightly? I like Nightly a lot but just wanted to try an 'official' x64 if exists. I cannot determine that in short order looking through mozilla.org.... it appears on surface the answer is "Nightly"

Norton deleted Minefield
Hey guys, I have another odd problem. I was updating Minefield to the latest nightly, and restarted it. Then, Norton flashes a small pop-up at the bottom of the screen saying it removed firefox.exe from C:\Program Files\Minefield\firefox.exe. It said it was acting suspicious....:sarc: Any...

Firefox 3.7Pre (Minefield) Oct 25 build seems to work
Firefox 3.6Pre Oct. 25 nightly build seems to work. My AddOns work with it(with version checking disabled of course) and it also supports Windows 7 Jump List. All the previous nightly builds I had trouble with my AddOns. Looks like they are making rapid headway now. Here's the link: Index of...

Minefield
I have been trying out Minefield which is basically Firefox 3.6a1pre, it is running extremely well and seems super quick. It also works perfectly with the new window preview on the new taskbar. Has anyone else tried it? You can grab it from: Index of...
