    thanks the link opens in explorer have not downloaded yet will be soon for a friend on his vista machine the 2011 wont install on his so will try and inatall 2009 back for him i will keep you posted

    Actually the "url" (universal resourse locator) should work universally. The part that printed above will work, however I copied it from a newsgroup post as it was presented. So it was preceded by some "mhtml" data. If you right click and copy the shortcut, then paste it into a browser address bar, all the stuff prior to "http://..." (the url) can be deleted. Thanks for letting me know. Post #11 is now cleaned up for future use.

I recently updated to the 2011 version of Live Mail and now I am missing a large number of emails from most of my storage folders! I need them back!! Would they have been removed & archived during the update? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!
