    Help me.!!!!


    hi, can anyone tell me a browser which i can install on my D DRIVE in a folder.
    so that after removing window its data remain safe i.e. remember passwords, cookies,cache and i can run it from my d drive .
    i mean to say that which can save cookie,cache and all remember password in d drive installation folder not in my c drive.

    Try to set you user profile to run from your D: drive :)

    FireFox Can be installed on any drive your IE safes info doesn't matter on what drive you install it on,,I don't get the Q...Please explain

    The op is wanting to change the directory there browser runs from and saves cookies... Much like a portable FF

    You can just backup and restore your firefox profile or IE data using the following tools.

    MozBackup - Backup tool for Firefox and Thunderbird

    Backup IE Favourites, Settings & Passwords | Sizzled Core

    here is a list of portable browsers. i suppose you can put them on your D: drive, and just keep a shortcut on C:
