I can't access some sites like facebook

For a week I am having trouble in entering facebook. I keep getting 'connection reset' problem. Or if I enter the site and can't post comments nor like shares from other people. I deleted all of the cookies and no help at all. Please help me. It is my birthday and I need to thank people who remembered my birthday.

    What it is the problem.

    Happy birthday!

Have you tried using another browser? Do other sites have the same problem?

Now bless Facebooks's heart, but it is the buggiest site I have ever seen. 25% of the time, it fails to load for whatever reason.

I'm assuming you suffered for over 3 hours, but is the problem still going on?

I went to Facebook.com right now and it seems to be working just fine. I also accessed it 3 hours ago and this morning about 12 hours ago and it also was working just fine. What browser are you using? Additionally, can you access other websites without any issues? Also, are you on your home network or on a corporate network? You noted this has been happening for a week, have you tried another browser instead of what you are using? And if you have any other computers on this same network, have you tried accessing the website on one of them to see if it's just this PC or your network.

Echoing what others have said, you can't come in here and practically give no information except "I can't access facebook.com" and expect us to get an answer immediately. That's like going to a doctor and saying to him "I feel lousy. Now, tell me what's wrong with me, and no dumb suggestions." That ain't gonna work.

Let's not give the OP too hard of a time. After all, our job is to help, not just give solutions. If he has done something wrong, report the post, and let the mods take care of it.

I use Firefox and Chrome. When Mozilla can't access that site I go to Chrome then it works. When that problem happens I go back to Mozilla and vice versa. On IE9 there is no hope at all it doesn't open. I googled this trouble and many people faced this problem.

I got this funny story from a person facing this problem: On his computer he can't open facebook at all and he thought that his account has some troubles. After a week of facing this problem, he went to a foreign and he went to the internet cafe. Surprisingly, his account opened without any trouble

So I guess there is problem with the PC itself. I don't want to format again because I installed a lot of big softwares. I hope the info I gave is better guys. Thanks!
