Backing up mail

Have just started using Windows 7 and moved all my mail from Outlook Express into Windows Live Mail. I want to do a back-up to save all my mail folders, but cannot figure out where all the messages are stored? Also, where are my contacts stored?? Please help.

In WLM (2009/2010): Tools/Options/Advanced/Maintenance/Store Folder will give the path in Explorer.

Contact database in hidden files in appdata/local/Microsoft/Windows Live Contacts
