you heard it here first, folks..!!

you can unlock the toolbars to move those little icons on the top right of the screen
I shoved mine over to the left - then re-locked it to keep them there..

Kudos to MS for both Win7 and the IE beta 9 browser, they seem to have to have stopped making jerky, uncertain forward movements and taken a leap forward with both products.

p.s. I just opened IE b.9 and checked my bank account, seems I have more money than I thought... that's gotta be a good sign.

i don't see what is so fabulous about IE9. I'm running it on my work laptop and it's just.....eh.....IE. It's not terrible or anything, but I wouldn't define it as groundbreaking. Perhaps I just haven't found the right site yet.

To what icons do you refer?
The only icons I have showing are these:

This is destined to be binned - no cut and paste from a web page. I've tried options that worked with earlier versions. Time to remove and get back to FF,

I'm not blown away by it either. It looks alright with the UI overhaul and stuff, but it's not enough to move me off of Chrome.

My installation stopped saying I need some updates. It also gave me this link.

How to solve Internet Explorer 9 installation problems

There are four Hotfix updates that are prerequisites that need to be installed (Method 3). It is suppose to do the updates during the install but mine failed. I think I will wait since this is my main system. I did update the Flash on IE-8 64bit and it works.

Word of advice if you are getting ready to install this beta...in Win 7 it replaces IE8 so you will stuck with IE9 beta until you uninstall it. It will have to be uninstalled in Control Panel>Programs and Features in the left column select "view installed updates" and go to the "microsoft windows" section and it will be listed there. Mine put IE8 back in tact as it was but did pop of that first use setup screen but all was already set the way I left it.

It looked decent but I prefer the favorites button on the left and no seperate search box? I really like the seperate search box. It wouldn't open Facebook or the Peackeeper browser benchmark and a few other various sites I tried to open from my favorites so I uninstalled it. Hopefully they will locate the bugs and work them out because it looks like it will be nice browser but when I try to several pages and none of them will load then there are issues to be dealt with. Will be looking forward to the final release.

    Don't have that problem here.

I'll check a few more websites.

There have always been a few sites that disable copy and paste. snopes.com is one that comes to mind quickly. Can't blame you, though, I'm stickin' with FF but I'll learn about IE9 and some of its intricacies for support purposes.

Ok guys I am having alot of trouble with IE9. First off my search suggestions in the address bar does not work at all. I can search but there is no drop down box. Secondly it seems I have trouble viewing pictures, videos and ads. Some forums that I frequently visit do not load well and get choppy and grey boxes appear. I downloaded the adobe flash "square" thing for 64 bit and am still having these problems. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks
