how to get rid of tracking cookies?
i have 42 of them
help
are you using internet explorer ? if so click start(windows logo on task bar) then control panel then network and internet, internet options under browsing history click delete then select what items you want to delete ie cookies, passwords ext then hit delete hope this helps
In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>General Tab>Browsing History section and click the delete button. More options will be presented. Make sure to check the cookies box and select Delete. I usually check all the boxes except passwords.
Next, go back to Internet Options>Privacy tab>Advanced Button, check Override automatic cookie handling and both of the Block radio buttons. That will prevent cookies from being stored on your machine. You can always allow cookies from trusted sites by using the Sites button on the Privac tab.
iam not to familiar with google chrome so i would go with swarfega's advice you could use a program like ccleaner its a free download
hit Ctrl + Shift + Delete to bring up the Clear Browsing Data dialogue. You can also go to Tools (the wrench icon) > Options > Under the Hood > Clear Browsing Data.
It's also possible to set Google Chrome to automatically clear your cookies and site data whenever you close the browser. Simply go to Tools > Options > Under the Hood > Content Settings > Cookies and select Clear cookies and other site data when I close my browser. hope this helps
Google Chrome.
Click Wrench Tool icon upper right corner. Drop curtain click Options.
Click "Clear Browsing Data" button in new window. That should remove all but...to be sure..
...Then click "Content Settings" in same window as above. New window highlight Cookies. Click "Show Cookies and other Site Data".
New window should be empty. If not Click "Remove All"
Done!
As you will see Content Settings window gives you access to all add ons.
