    How can i make another web browser the default


    well a couple days ago i posted about my IE 8 AND 9 BETA being a blurry mess i had posted pics on this before i want to know is how to make fire fox the default on top of IE

    Also how can i get rid of IE 8 AND 9 period since it doesnt work like it should i want to rid this disgrace off my machine anyone can help me i would be greatly apreciated

    type default into your start-menu search-box.

    select 'default programs'...

    ...et voilą.

    then uninstall ie9 from the control panel, i suppose.

    i would keep ie8, though.

    Ok i actually just uninstalled IE 9 and im going to restart give me a few and i will be back with a reply

    I went into windows updates i hope that is the correct area

    er, windows update isn't the place to uninstall stuff.

    For IE9 it is, Internet Explorer 9 - Uninstall

    I am pleased to say IE9 was the culprit I am now running like i should clean and clear with out the bs Blurr Man you guys saved the day

    I am going to rep each and one of you especially Mickey megabyte you were helping since first post yesterday very gratefull and now very happy So I guess im going to stay away from the BETA for a while but in retrospect I think IE9 is still in use cause i uninstalled it but the browser looks the same wierd but I don't care it works
