    ADSL+2 internet slow?

hello i have no reason to explain this but for some reason my internet (which i access through a wireless g router) is slow when i watch youtube videos or any online videos for that matter its sort of fast for downloads and it's great for online play on xbox live no lag at all.

this is what i have done:

-ran scans with superantispyware, malwarebytes, MSE, Avast. (they found nothing)
    -ran ccleaner and defragged.
    - tweaked firefox.
-used different browsers (still the same)

this is the same on the other laptops in the house and i have a full signal since i am in the same room and the router.

    any thoughts?

What is your current speed: Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test ?
Have you tried rebooting your internet source (modem and router) as well as the wireless g router and your PC?
If you pause the playback to let it download, and then play it, does that help or is it still too slow?

    Hi AussieGuy92,

Your speedtest looks good. Have you tried a wired connection? Plug your computer directly to the router by using an ethernet cable and see if you're able to duplicate the issue.

Have you recently updated your router's firmware to the latest one?

It could be due to your ISP's traffic shaping (ie; prioritising gaming traffic over video traffic). If you get the same problems when using a wired connection and after updating the firmware this is probably the issue.
