    Choppy Scrolling

Laptop is a few months old.

64 bit windows 7 home premium.

At first I used chrome. The scrolling wasn't smooth. and my memory usage was up around 70+%.

Then I tried FireFox. Scrolling is different then chrome. but still not smooth or right. now memory usage is down around 50.

Finally irritated me enough and tried IE. Its the smoothest of the 3, but I think it could be better. But its painfully slow opening tabs and loading pages.

I've updated my drivers. messed with settings in firefox and chrome. no help.

Only thing I haven't tried were IE 9beta and firefox 4 beta. My 6 year old P4 never had this problem.

I'm hoping with your help I can enjoy this laptop 100%.

    Thanks!

Opera has the smoothest scrolling of any browser I've tried by a big margin its also pretty fast & has a great range of keyboard shortcuts which comes in handy on a laptop.
