What exactly doesn't work? The options are grayed out? It throws an error?

I get a blank page in Print Preview and a blank page comes out of printer (except for header & footer descriptors).

Have you done any "tweaks" to Windows 7 or IE8? Do you have any add-ons installed in IE8?

Nothing that wasn't there before the Windows 7 upgrade. IE8 was working fine in Vista. But then it took months of tweaking to get Vista to work. Looks like the same going to be with Windows 7. Somehow this problem sounds familiar, I just haven't figured out why.

See if you have MSIA (Microsoft Software Inventory Analyzer). If you do, remove it.

You did an in-place upgrade? That's probably part of the problem. Any issues that existed in Vista will not exist in 7. I highly recommend doing a clean install.

Yes I checked for MSIA, and it's not installed as far as I can see.

    WIndows 7 won't print from ie8

Try this it worked for me. You cannot print or print preview Web pages in Internet Explorer on Windows Vista or on Windows 7 it's about time that MS provided a permanent fix to stop this from happening in the first place.
