Opera 11 beta 1145 Stability, extensions, and tab stacking fixes

Auto tab stacking is no more
But will be back as an option (probably in opera:config ) at some future date, posts about it on the Opera desktop blog were split 50/50 about it.
    Tab stacking
    No automatic stacking
Improvements to dragging tabs in and out of stacks
Only the active tab in collapsed stacks are part of the tab order
    Fixed various tab order bugs
    Various other fixes and tweaks

Sorry for bringing back an old thread, but my question is pertaining to this certain build of Opera.

In the changelog it says that the tab stacking fixes are that auto tab stacking is now disabled. Do you recall when you had this version what this meant exactly? Is tab stacking disabled by default and you can re-enable it at will in the configuration file? If so I was thinking about downloading this exact beta build to try this out, since I would really like to have this feature be optional. Let me know if you remember.

Thanks for your response, all input is much appreciated.

I hate tab stacking, be pleased to see the back of it... every time I drag a tab around invariably it ended up amalgamated with the one nearest to where I dropped it, and Opera eats a lot of memory if you have a vast number open simultaneously anyway (like most browsers)...

The older version of tab stacking if you opened a link in a new page from inside a stack it opened inside the stack & a lot of users preferred it this way & is known as auto stacking.
Every release of Opera since then if you open a link in a new page from within a stack it opens outside the stack.
So far there are no options in either Preferences or opera:config.

Please let me know where "tab stack" option is in either Preferences or opera:config. I could not find.

Affirmed, no user options, it's annoying...
