YouTube, video sites in Chrome 10 dev

    Hey there!

Right now, I am annoyed with the latest Chrome dev build. Every time I click on my YouTube bookmark or go to a video website (Metacafe, etc.), Chrome eventually downloads a file named 'download' which is approximately 18-21kb, the icon is that of my C: drive. The download is indefinite, and once I stop the download, Chrome crashes eventually. Otherwise, Chrome shows me a long script and then crashes suddenly. Anyone having the same annoyance/problem? Please help.

    Thanks,
    Francis

Report it as a bug and then go back to a stable release of Chrome.

It's called a developer version for a reason.

I have solved my problem. Internet Download Manager (IDM) causes Chrome dev to crash, that's why I have disabled IDM's advanced browser integration feature for Chrome and no more crashes.
