    Windows Live Mail


    I know this probably a silly question, but I checked my e-mails yesterday & I don't see nothing in my inbox.I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, maybe need to be verifed first by Windows.Please help me!

    WLM is merely a client to enable you to receive/send emails. However, like all email clients, it requires setting up with your account details. You can get these from your ISP.

    Windows Live Essentials 2011


    I'm sorry ,but my question has not been answered yet, about importing my address book thru Windows Live Essentials.Maybe misunderstanding some of the replys, I don't know.

    If I'm understanding you correctly;

    In the lower left corner of your Windows Live Mail screen, click on Contacts.
    The toolbar will change and you'll have an Import button that will let you import your address book.

    Found that just tinkering.

    I don't see the import button after opening contacts in address book.Just at the top is contacts & the number of them listed below.I must be doing something wrong.Please provide me an example if you can.

    Hello Bushman, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    If you wanted to import old contacts, then the Import button should be in the ribbon at the top like in the screenshot below.

    Now my problem is how to retrieve the import button tired customizing the ribbon, but doesn't give the option of the import button & thanks for the image.

    Could you post a screenshot of what you are seeing instead? This may be able to help us determine what may the issue may be.

    Be sure to edit out any personal information (ex: email address) in the screenshot before posting though.

    Ignore my last reply about this issue, I finally figured out how to import my address book after all this time.Sorry, for the frustration & conffusion on this topic, may you all have a blessed & a prosperous new year.
