    Firefox tabs & new windows

I'm currently using the Windows 7 Basic theme, and I have an issue with Firefox. (AA)

When hovering over the taskbar button for Firefox, each individual tab and window is shown on the list. Is there a way to make it only list each individual window INSTEAD of showing every tab?

    4.0b8, and no.

If it was at all vague, here's a screenshot of all of the tabs being listed in the taskbar view (you need to CnP the link): http://image.bayimg.com/haboiaadp.jpg

    it's not a firefox issue--it's a win7 issue (feature?)

    try changing your taskbar settings

right click on taskbar-choose properties--then choose taskbar tab--first unlock it by unchecking the 'Lock the taskbar' button--then play with your settings (taskbar buttons)

IF you wan't to take the process further--try googling: 'change taskbar behavior with Group Policy Editor in win7

Thanks tman. I googled you suggestion and came up with the perfect solution. If anyone's looking for it:

Type in about:config in your Firefox address bar. Search for 'browser.taskbar.previews.enable' and set it to false. That's it.

    Thanks again.

FYI, this 'problem' for the OP is a new feature in the FF 4 beta. I kind of like it, it ends up making the taskbar icon act more like IE now.
