    Works for Me

    Dazzieb's solution works for me.

    "1. Choose the Advanced Tab
    2. Scroll down to Security
    3. Un-check Do not save encrypted pages to disk"

Thanks, but I already tried that before I posted the issue.

If I use the 64-bit version of ie9, it works ok. Its the 32-bit that is the problem. And you can't make the 64-bit version the default when clicking on hyperlinks.

I am having the same problem with all browsers in an HP Laptop. Vista upgraded to 7. Used to be a corporate computer but was upgraded and sold. I think the networking restrictions are still rooted. Trying to avoid a reformat. Hope someone posts a fix soon.

It's now several years later, but I had this same problem. I'm running Win Vista and therefore IE9 is as high as I could go. I don't use IE much, but could not download and install Flash and a couple of other programs with IE, which I do have to use occasionally. A lot of people tried to help, but then I found Dazzieb's solution and it fixed this for me... period. Many thanks!
