The RC is being released by the end of the month, so let's just go one step at a time :)

Given the iE7 and IE8 release timeframes, the last beta or release candidate build is typically about 6-8 months before the RTW. However, that doesn't mean it *will* be released within 8 months, it's just that has been the history. They could release another Release Candidate in the future, etc - but usually 6-8 months after the last beta or RC is out, you see RTW browser code from MS.

well i do not think it's true since the RC will be released at the end of THIS month and IE/Microsoft want to release the IE9 before the Firefox release their version4 , so probably February/March the IE9 will be released as Final Version, that's what i think!
