    windows live mail problem


    hello! i have windows 7 on my new laptop, but having a bit of a nightmare with windows live mail. i can receive email but can not send it when i try i get this error message; Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.
    Subject 'hello'
    Server: 'smtp.talktalk.net'
    Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
    Protocol: SMTP
    Port: 25
    Secure(SSL): No
    i have followed the instructions from the talktalk websiite to the letter and have set the account up half a dozen times, has anyone else had this problem? i would be grateful for any help!

    What anti virus software are you using on the machine, do you have any other accounts that you could try to rule out a server problem.

    email problem


    hi! i am using norton 360 antivirus and i've tried setting up thunderbird email program with no success!

    Try setting up the ports as incoming 995 secure ssl check the box, outgoing 465 secure ssl check the box, apply, ok, should work

    hello! 1 bowtie have changed ports to what you recommended,still not working!
