Can anyone download the RC, and if so, do we have to unistall to change to RTM, or is it just an update?
    Thanks,
    Bill

Sorry but I am a little unsavvy but is this a stable release or just a pre release "trial". Haven't had time to read through as I have to dash - work.

Am testing the RC as I type this.
I installed the x64 flavour (the installer would not allow me to install the 32 bit version).
That's because you're running the 64-bit version of Windows 7. If you were running a 32-bit version of Windows the 32-bit installer would be appropiate.

This RC build is quite good and my Flash player on 64-bit IE didn't pop up any errors:)
The ActiveX Filter is helpful when you go to some website that loads a lot a players,
    prevent the browser crashes.

Searching in googles now is very smooth,no delays
Personally still place the tab on the same level as the address bar,
becasue it gives me the biggest browser's area(not count F11 Fullscreen Mode)

I'm not a speed nut like some here.

All my browers have worked about the same speed.
No noticeable difference except IE 8 which mostly did not work.
Always a count of one- one thousand at least to open two- one thousand to load.
    At least.

This one the web pages pop.

One- one thousand it is done before the second one is said.
This is on new web pages.
I cleared browsing history totally after install so it had no old internet pages to load from.

My observations aren't scientific I realize.
I don't know if it is faster than Chrome or any others but it is the fastest IE I have ever used and is competitive in speed.

    No problems through the day.

I like it and will continue using.

    So far so good!
    Mike

I was using IE 9beta and Chrome. Speed was about the same.
Both were slower than IE 9RC loading new pages.
