    64-bit Browsers

Is there a list of 64-bit Browsers for Windows out there? The only one I know of is the 64-bit IE8.

As of now, only IE and an older build of Firefox are available in x64 for Windows.

Thanks A Guy. Have you personally used these nightly builds? Are they automatically updated?

I found something called Adobe Flash "Square" which is a preview release of Adobe Flash which supports 64-bit browsers. I've installed it on Minefield AND the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer 8. Both work fine, just keep in mind there's a separate download for the IE compatible version. I may start using Minefield only.

The nightly builds aren't automatically updated, but the updates are automatically downloaded and you'll be prompted to apply them. If you're using the browser when it downloads the new version, you'll be prompted to apply the update (Firefox will restart if you appply it). If the browser downloads the new version when you're not using it, then the next time you start Firefox, you'll be prompted to apply the update (the UAC will pop up. If you click yes, Firefox gets updated. If you click no, you continue using the old version).

Is there any word if Google is working on a 64-bit browser? I'm enjoying using Minefield for now but I miss certain features in Chrome, but the speed of Minefield is worth the loss.

I don't think there's any difference between this and the build I'm using, found from A Guy's post previously in this thread.

Bad idea to use x64 browsers. There is not one anti virus that supports x64 browsers so you are setting yourself up to get a virus. I work in IT and I tell the personel not to use x64 browsers but they don't listen. And what gains would you get? A x32 bit application can only use 1.25GB of ram, so what could you be running on a browsers that need more then 1.25GB of ram?

Wait, wait, wait, excuse me!? Since when do antiviruses lack support for 64-bit browsers? I'm pretty sure Microsoft Security Essentials would support it. It is a 64-bit application after all.
