Wont load certain pages.

    Wont load certain pages.


    No matter what browser i use. i just cant access the steam support. or community page.

    iv tried everything. stopping firewall. re-installing java. uninstalling nvidia network manager. etc. this is what i see when i try to load.

    and it dosnt matter where i am ( like if im round a friends house. he can use it but not me.)

    any ideas?

    Your av may be blocking the domain or ip. It may be blocked in LMHosts, etc

    Your av may be blocking the domain or ip. It may be blocked in LMHosts, etc

    Hi BarclayTech and welcome to Windows 7 Forums

    I've had no problem with accessing that site. One thing that I have noticed when pinging it as you have done is that I got back a different IP address, 65.122.178.73 as opposed to your 11.11.11.11. Mine also timed out, but webmasters can arrange it so that their sites don't respond to ping requests.

    Try entering 65.122.178.73 into the address box of your browser and see if you can access that way. On mine, this takes me to the following:

    Simply click on CAFÉ SUPPORT to arrive at this page:

    I didn't think of putting in the ip. I'll try it when I get home. (at school now)

    Ok i tried getting to the site ( and succeeded) but it wont let me access the support page and i also need to access steamcommunity.com which i cant.

    ok i didnt solve it but i just used acer eRecovery to completely restore my computer and the websites work. gonna be more carefull next time.
