I believe this is a scare email. I have not heard of any legitimate companies trying to collect by email. It's usually by telephone calls or letters via the postal service. I'd ignore the email and do not respond. That would tell the sender they have a "live" email address and you'll probably get lots more spam or scare mails. I'd also suggest removing your email address from your post.

Just see how much they're insisting you to click that 'unsubscribe' link, just to send you to a malicious site and bombard your pc with malware, rogueware etc.

Its just A SPAM. Trash the email.

And pls, edit your post and remove your mail address if you don't want to have some more mails like this scaring you.

Seems like a hoax to me.

The grammar is incorrect in quite a few places

    U.A.E & international Collection Network
    they've used a small i

    Bounced Cheque
a so called legal department wouldn't use the term "bounced"

This is an proper list and if you have received this e-mail by mistake
they've used "an" instead of "a"

plus they've not left any contact number for you to call them back.

If they were legit they wouldn't make mistakes like this.

I agree - this is scare mail and nothing to be worried about.

Some examples of poor grammar that leads me to this conclusion:

    This is an proper list
unsolicited e-mail until we mention automated remove instructions
and do not wish to further receive this e-mail please
Legal-type emails do not contain such obvious mistakes. The UAE is rich enough to afford lawyers with an excellent command of the English language.

Ignore the email, and add the address to your junk/spam filter :)

EDC and econsult in the UAE both point to websites with known malicious link, giving more credibility that the email you received is fake. Ignore it.

I am really happy that this is only a scare e - mail. I will watch for such spelling mistakes in the future.
