Blank sites, done???

    Works for me.

    Can you check to see that both PCs are using the same settings and plugins (use the working one as a reference, and ensure that the problematic one is set up identically).

    they are identical except the working one has 2 microsoft plugins thathe non working one doesn't, they are
    office document cache handler and
    XML DOC document
    What are they?

    Neither of those should make any difference.

    I've had a couple of suggestions. These are clearing your temporary internet files, and doing a repair install.

    ok, I've already deleted the temp files. Is that a repair instal of win7?

    Yes, just in case you have corrupt files which could be causing the problem.

    Open the hosts file found here with Notepad:

    C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

    See if the sites you are having trouble with are listed.

    You might want to do a full malware scan. Malware can cause these issues.
