    WLM blocking senders

This is going to be a dopy query but how do you add blocked senders to the Safety Options as I have tried numerous ways of entering the senders both blocked and safe and still am getting the blocked ones come up in the message window instead of being put in the junk box, and the safe senders sent to the junk box.

This ahppens on both machines and both are config'd the same

Does one enter *@site.com.au or www.site.com.au or does it have to be the exact details ie. sales@site.com.au .

For example I get replies from this forum marked as spam even though I marked it as a safe sender as support@sevenforums.com & *@sevenforums.com .

I have tried that Junk add sender to / domain to safe or blocked but it dosn't seem to have any effect at all.

Now if it has to be the exact sender details how do I find out what that is. Sorry fellas but am not savvy with this sort of stuff and my Kaspersky doesn't support WLM yet which is also very inconvenient and makes for a very tedious process of sorting it all out as there is also no consistency in what is sent to junk or just marked as spam. Therefore leaving one to have to make sure a safe sender hasn't been sent to junk or send blocked stuff to junk.

My only other option is to shell out $'s for the Office program just to get the Outlook.

I vaguely remember that the spam filter in 2011 doesn't work right initially. You need to do a "repair" of "Windows Live Essentials" via "Programs and Features" to fix it. Let us know if that works.

Hey thanks Ron I'll give that a go - if I can find don't forget I am the original Teknoidiot. But if I can find a fix I'll let you know becuase ir's driving me to distraction.

Why M$ / Windows couldn't get this feature right is very perplexing given the resources and the program designers etc etc to darw on.

Sorry mate just having a bad day hence negativity.
