    Shawn do you know how to put your favourites to the left in IE9


    Shawn do you know how to put your favourites to the left in IE9. It's doing my head in, it's like them telling you the way you've been reading for all those years is wrong and saying you need to read from right to left.

    No I am trying to do it like IE8 see highlighted in yellow mate.

    Sorry, but that's not possible. The Favorites button is now on the right and, whilst it is possible to pin it to the left as shown in the Tutorial, it is not possible to make it behave as it does when it is in its native position. In other words, it remains visible whilst pinned. Unpinning it restores normal behaviour - the Favorites will once again be accessible from the right hand side. Like many things, it's just a matter of getting used to the idiosyncrasies. I must admit that I found it awkward at first, but have now got used to it and it is now second nature to have the Favorites on the right.

    If you only want to see your Favorites and not the Favorites Center, then you could turn on the Menu bar to have Favorites on the left side.

    Done that mate not the same though awk well all good things come to an end. Cheers mate
