I like this new speed dials. It's very practical. :)
yeah, it's nicer than having several blank tabs, but it would be nice if the blank plus was just a speed dial option in the configure button :/
You mean like the option at the bottom of the configure page?

I think the new Speed-dial is a big improvement the zoom to the sites logo works pretty good most of the time.
Wish there was an option to hide the configure button & I'd love to be able to insert a new Speed-dial anywhere without swapping them.

By the way, in addition to finalizing Opera 11.10, we've also just announced the public beta of our brand new mail service, My Opera Mail . Read more about it in the mailteam blog!
I like the new My Opera mail seems initially there is a 1 GB storage limit , not sure how big an attachment you can send.

The new Speed Dial a a huge improvement over what it has been, but I'm still trying to figure it out. One thing in particular that I don't understand is the statement in the change log:

Added a new "logo finder" which keys in on the main title of a page; diabled when "Reload every" is applied.
This sounds as though it would operate much as I have done with using custom images to replace the webpage image, but I don't find any option for it anywhere, despite the fact that I do have the "Reload Every" option disabled. What am I missing?

EDIT: After consideration, I think that all that means is that it just focuses on a portion of the webpage with the logo, instead of the entire page, but that doesn't work very well, because like with this forum, it still displays the majority of the page. I guess I will still have to use custom images as before. An improvement, but not as good as I would have liked.

I find it easy enough the tabs are sorted into groups & are always in the same relative position when the browser is maximized so muscle memory helps.
I very rarely use the Bookmarks Bar anymore as the speed dial is better & is most helpful when deciding which site to visit next.
If i want to reuse the page I'm on I use the the F2 key to bring up the address field & type in the nickname e.g "i" for the Independent newspaper.
