How Secure is your Browser ?

Quote:
These days with the Internet being all around us, using a secure browser is essential. We all have that one browser we love to use, and often in disregard to its security or lack there of.The lack of security may lay in an outdated browser version, but also in the plugins, add ons and what not installed. The over eager use of plugins (as done in MSIE and Firefox) is why I personally dread most browsers. Mostly because these plugins tend to clutter my “browsing space” but also due to the lack of security.
How do you know how safe your browser experience really is ?

Explicit cookie allow list (No randoms), Certificate OCSP server validation, encrypted Password DB, SSL set to default on most sites I visit, about:config secured.

Result (the Firefox process has EMET and Virtualization on it too):

Not even a stray cookie will get past my strict privacy and security config

I'm a tad security/privacy obsessed lol I even added IP-domain name maps to my HOSTS file to stop man-in-the-middle attacks for my usual browsed websites. Firefox has so many options you can configure to make your browsing and the browser itself locked down secure.

I never used some thorough security measures for my Firefox browser. The only security measure that I really think it's bulletproof is me thinking before I click anything on the internet.
As long as you update your software and visit websites known as safe, you don't need to worry much. If you click every porn ad in hope you will get a free membership to Big 'Uns, you are likely to get all the malware possible.

Ran it with Opera & had the Flash vulnerability as everyone will until Adobe release a fix.
When I ran it with IE 9 it had the Flash but also reported a vulnerability with VLC Player so IE might be the best browser to run it if you want to check more widely on your system.
