    How to downgrade from IE9 to IE8?


    Damn microsoft and their IE9 in critical automatic windows updates, that was a nasty move.

    I have downloaded IE8 from microsoft site but it refuses to install on seven. I don't find IE8 for Win7 anywhere

    there's a tutorial on how to uninstall IE9 here: Internet Explorer 9 - Uninstall
    and I guess MS still have IE8 available for download for XP users that wouldn't be able to run it, which I guess would be compatible with Windows 7. if not,I'm sure some other site has it. I'm not sure if uninstalling it will put IE8 back or not, but I doubt it will.

    Uninstalling IE9 from the list of installed updates will put IE8 back on your machine automatically.
